Gardaí tweeted this afternoon looking to locate the owner of a dog which was found in the Mallow area, who they believe may have been stolen from Leinster.

The Gardaí said in a tweet: “Please share and hopefully we can get this girl back to her home.

Looks like she was stolen, possibly from the Leinster Area and was found in Mallow, Cork.

She is currently been cared for in a local guards home and the owner should contact Mallow Garda Station on 022 31450.”
